After inspiration from Anna Chanberlain I decided to create a blog, and hope to chart the coming year of change for the Mears home in cyberspace! I will start my first job as a registered nurse next month and hope Si will be leaving print early next Spring. I now feel accountable to this space in order to aim for a potential move away within 18 months MAX and see Si in a new career with me finding my feet in the world of hospitals! Wish us luck...

Glad I was an inspiration to you, welcome to the world of blogging (not that I've been here long).
It'll be sad to see you leave Bournemouth, but we're so excited for you both. Have a great time in the Lakes next week, and (I'm sure I'll see you before hand) but all the best as you begin your career as a Staff Nurse.
